Team Leader, Software Developer (ASP.Net with C#) Male

Responsibilities:

1.         Achieving the assigned team goal.

2.         Lead, motivate and ensuring zero defects from his team members.

3.         Co-ordinate and work collaboratively with other team members, and should be willing to take on any engineering tasks that contribute to the progress towards the goals of the team and the company.

4.         Participate in any/all phases of a product/software development cycle: from design, coding, debugging, testing and early customer support.

5.         Understanding of client’s requirement, mapping same with the solutions.

6.         Formal handover of projects and other documents to Service groups.

7.         Manage and supervise documentation of all activities pertaining to the department.

8.         Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

1.         Excellent communication skills.

2.         Minimum 1.5 yrs experience and thorough knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server 2005, AJAX, Java script  and the knowledge of Web services  & XML.

3.         Strong database designing skills in SQL 2005

4.         Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle methodology.

5.         Ability to understand and analyze issues and uses judgment to make decisions.

6.         Rapid application development ability. Must be ready to hit the ground running.

7.         Will be responsible for coding and adherence to the specifications.

8.         Independent, self motivated, and the ability to adapt in a fast and dynamic environment.

9.         Skilled in managing and co-ordinating the activities of team.

Remuneration: As per industry standard + Incentives, however it may vary depending upon the candidate’s experience and performance during interview.

Education and Experience Requirements:

-          B.S. Computer Science or equivalent experience;

-          3-5 years experience developing enterprise applications and cutting edge web software with superior ease of use characteristics;

-          Significant development experience on a variety of data driven projects using AJAX, JavaScript, Cold Fusion, C#, HTML, CSS, and XML. You will be required to show examples or documentation of your work;

-          Strong knowledge of SQL, database design principles and best practices using Microsoft SQL Server or other database platform;

-          Proven history of developing large scale, high performance, data-driven web-based applications;

-          Experience developing and launching new technology products or services;

-          Knowledge of software architecture and patterns (components, reuse, skinning, OOP);

-          Experience with at least one configuration management tool (VSS, Perforce, Subversion, etc.);

-          Familiarity with SOA Architecture is a plus (SOAP, Web Services, WSDL);

-          Our data tier is a large SQL Server database providing all data access. Strong experience with these technologies is a must-have.
